Width of design is from end of rod to end of rod.
Length of design is top of rod to bottom of extensions
A hang string is included, however you can also hang from the rod by resting it on 2-3 nails or using leather tapestry straps.

It’s always great to have a visual of where the hanging will be featured and the feel and colors of your room.
